About Arran

Arran Smith, a proud individual who identifies as a severely dyslexic adult, has embarked on a remarkable journey that highlights the transformative power of assistive technology. Throughout his life, dyslexia has been a constant companion, affecting his daily interactions and learning experiences. Arran’s reading age was equivalent to that of a nine-year-old, and his spelling age was just eight. The written word often felt like an enigma, an elusive puzzle he struggled to piece together. However, Arran’s story is not one of despair; it’s a testament to resilience and the limitless potential of technology.
